Description
Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Glowing Embers’ Zone 5
Glowing Embers Lacecap Hydrangea
3-6’, ‘Glowing Embers‘ is a compact and produces 8 in. across, rounded clusters of flowerheads that begin as lime green to white and mature to vibrant pink to red. Most mophead and lacecap hydrangeas bloom on old wood so should not be pruned after July. Deadheading can be done as soon as blooms fade, being careful not to cut too much stem.
