Ruby Slippers Oakleaf Hydrangea
3-5’ Tall and Wide. Native, Large oak shaped leaves, white flowers in June mature to a ruby red. Shade tolerable. Oakleaf hydrangeas bloom on old wood so should not be pruned after July. Deadheading can be done as soon as blooms fade, being careful not to cut too much stem.
