3-5’ Tall and Wide. Native. A small compact cultivar with purplish stems. Catkins emerge reddish purple, eventually maturing to dark grayish white in Spring. Tolerates a wide range of soils, including very moist ones. Provides nectar for native bees and buds provide food for birds. Full sun.
